You can request deletion of your WorcX account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to do it, what gets deleted, and what we may need to keep.
1. Delete from the app
If you are signed in to the WorcX app:
- Open the app and go to your profile / account settings;
- Select Delete account and confirm the request.
Your account is then scheduled for deletion and your access is removed.
2. Request by email
You can also request deletion by emailing privacy@worcx.dk from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my data". We may ask you to verify your identity before we proceed, to protect your account.
3. What gets deleted
- Your profile and login details;
- Your personal contact information;
- Content linked to your account, and — if you are a company owner closing the company workspace — the company's cases, offers, customers and uploaded media.
If you are an employee of a company, some records you created may remain with the company's workspace; contact your company owner to have those removed.
4. What we may keep
We may retain a limited amount of data where the law requires it or to protect our legitimate interests, for example:
- Invoices and transaction records, which must be kept for statutory accounting periods;
- Records needed to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or enforce our agreements.
Any retained data is limited to what is necessary and is deleted once it is no longer required.
5. Timeline
We action verified deletion requests without undue delay, and normally within 30 days. Payment records held by our payment provider (Stripe) are handled according to their retention obligations.
